Core Values

Grants on a Mission exists to help nonprofits achieve financial sustainability through grant funding. We support nonprofit professionals (Founders, CEO, senior staff) without full-time Development team members. And we're building community and a culture of learning around fundraising, financial sustainability, grant funding, and philanthropy.

As we build this world, we believe in these core values:

  • Transparency.
Pricing that's as clear as our values.
  • Persistence.
    Nothing happens overnight.
  • Purpose.
    The work we do matters.
  • Excellence.
Quality products and services delivered on time.
  • Trust.
    We can do this together.
  • Honesty.
The truth about what's possible and when.

Code of Ethics

Grants on a Mission adheres to the code of ethics for fundraisers outlined by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. The code of ethics governs things such as:

  • prohibiting receipt of commission on grants won
  • maintaining confidentiality of information
  • preventing conflicts of interest
  • respecting intellectual property and anti-plagiarism

All Grants on a Mission staff are required to adhere to the code of ethics as well. The full document is available on the AFP website
